How to run Cplex throught Julia

In my last post I talk about how to run Gurobi throught Julia.
To do a benchmarking, now I going to explain how to run Cplex.
First, you need to register here to download cplex



chmod +x cplex_studio128.linux-x86-64.bin 
 ./cplex_studio128.linux-x86-64.bin 

By default, cplex use /opt/ibm/ILOG/CPLEX_Studio128 to install it

After, you need to add the binaries to your PATH or create symbolic links to the executables:

sudo ln -s /opt/ibm/ILOG/CPLEX_Studio128/cplex/bin/x86-64_linux/cplex /usr/bin/cplex
sudo ln -s /opt/ibm/ILOG/CPLEX_Studio128/cplex/bin/x86-64_linux/cplexamp /usr/bin/cplexamp

 cd /opt/ibm/ILOG/CPLEX_Studio128/cplex/python/3.6/x86-64_linux
sudo python3 setup.py install

Now, add Cplex package to Julia:

julia> Pkg.add("CPLEX")

We need to setup the library path in ~/.bashrc:
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH="/opt/ibm/ILOG/CPLEX_Studio128/cplex/bin/x86-64_linux/":$LD_LIBRARY_PATH

And now, setup cplex path in julia:
CPLEX_STUDIO_BINARIES=/opt/ibm/ILOG/CPLEX_Studio128/cplex/bin/x86-64_linux/ julia -e 'Pkg.add("CPLEX"); Pkg.build("CPLEX")'

How to install Matlab without GUI

If you want to install Matlab in a server, probably you don't have a GUI. To run the installer you need previosly configurate silent mode: ./install -mode silent Preparing installation files ... Contiki 3.0 on XM1000

In other post, I installer contiki 3.x on xm1000. Now, we going to install contiki 3.0 (the lastest version). First, you need to dowload the lastest code from github: git clone https://github.com/contiki-os/contiki.git Now we need to add xm1000 compatibility to our contiki. Thanks to DMI   for the xm1000 patch. Without it, you will see the following error: make: *** No rule to make target 'obj_xm1000/cc2420.o', needed by 'contiki-xm1000.a'.  Stop. I upgrade his patch with an app to access to the xm1000 sensors. Download it from https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7NXiwmWq7jCb3ROSFZZSWliMnc/view?usp=sharing Now, extract it into contiki folder: tar xzvf xm1000.tar.gz cd xm1000 cp -R * $YOUR_CONTIKI_PATH Go to the apps folder and execute an script that I create to automate the process: cd $YOUR_CONTIKI_PATH/platform/xm1000/apps/sensors ./install.sh Enjoy it!
